Open source · Free · macOS alpha
Everything you copy, on every computer.
Kopi keeps everything you copy, searchable in a keystroke and synced between Mac and Windows. Open source and private.
Or install from Terminal, and macOS won't block it the first time:
curl -fsSL https://kopi.devanshuverma.in/install.sh | bashFree alpha for macOS 14 or later, on Apple silicon and Intel. Apple doesn't notarize it, so macOS blocks the download the first time. Here's how to open it.
Windows is next. Join the waitlist to hear when it's ready.
A clipboard that keeps up with you
Kopi runs in the background and keeps everything you copy, ready to paste again.
Unlimited clipboard history
Text, links, images, colors and code are kept as you copy them, so nothing gets lost to the next copy.
Instant search
Type a few letters to find something you copied last week. Narrow it down by type or by the app it came from.
Pinboards
Keep the replies, addresses and snippets you reuse in boards that stay put, one shortcut away.
Mac ↔ Windows sync
Copy on one computer and paste on the other. Sync is end-to-end encrypted and entirely optional.
Paste as plain text
Drop the fonts, colors and stray formatting so whatever you paste matches where it lands.
Keyboard-first
Open Kopi, search, pick and paste without reaching for the mouse. Every shortcut can be changed.
Copy on your Mac. Paste on your PC.
Plenty of us work across both. Kopi keeps one clipboard history across your computers, whichever operating system they run.
- Copy on your Mac, paste on your Windows PC a moment later
- Clips are encrypted on your device before they leave it
- Choose what syncs: everything, pinboards only, or nothing at all
Your clipboard is personal. Kopi treats it that way.
A clipboard sees passwords, addresses and half-written messages. Kopi is designed so that none of it is anyone else's business.
Local-first storage
Your history lives in a database on your own computer. Kopi works fully offline and never needs an account to be useful.
End-to-end encrypted sync
When you turn sync on, clips are encrypted on your device with keys only you hold. Whatever relays them can't read them.
Skips sensitive content
Copies from password managers and content marked as concealed are ignored. You can add your own apps to the ignore list too.
Open source, open to audit
Every line of Kopi will be public. Anyone can read how your data is handled, and check that the claims on this page hold up.
Built for how you work
Whatever you copy all day, Kopi keeps it organised and easy to get back to.
Commands, tokens and snippets, without the scrollback
Stop digging through terminal history or chat threads for the command you ran yesterday.
- Code keeps its formatting
- Pin the snippets you type every day
- Same history on your Mac laptop and Windows desktop
